The article focuses on the move for an environmental sustainability by the printing industry in the U.S. The move had encountered several challenges along the way to its implementation due to workflow technology issues of business establishments. According to the author, many printing companies have received the certification of Forestry Stewardship Council (FSC), an internationally known chain of custody verification on the used of fiber from the managed forest. It had also become the qualification criterion for suppliers of paper and printing to major corporations such as Wal-Mart, Goldman Sachs and Bank of America.
