Carcinoid syndrome due to a primary ovarian carcinoid tumour.

The article presents the case of a 54-year-old woman with carcinoid syndrome due to a primary ovarian carcinoid tumor. The patient's medical history is described. An exploratory laparatomy was performed on the patient after a diagnosis of carcinoid syndrome secondary to ovarian carcinoid tumor. The patient was treated by resection of the primary tumor.
