Abstract

The article presents a case study a 53 year old woman who suffered from a iliac vein rupture. The woman complained of pain in her left hip and collapsed at home. Physicians examined her and got shocked with tachycardia of 230 beat per minute and a systolic blood pressure of 50 mmHg. A tender non-pulsatile mass was found in the left iliac fossa. Both femoral pulses were there and the legs were free from venous thrombosis.
