Abstract
- The article presents news briefs concerning international economic assistance to Africa as of July 16, 2006. The United States has granted funds to the Centre for Rehabilitation and Abolition of Torture. France has granted funds for the development of education and vocational training in Mauritania. The Dutch government has pledged a grant to the Nile Basin Initiative.
