Abstract
- The article looks into the treatment of patients with high-risk non-ST-segment elevation acute coronary syndromes to identify trends in the compliance to guideline-based treatments. It has been noted that the use of each guideline and the overall adherence to the guidelines improved substantially throughout the study period. The study revealed that there was a 5% increase in antiplatelet agents usage during the acute phase while the use of lipid-lowering agents increased by 11% after discharge.
