Abstract
- The article presents the author's views on the article "Nature, Harmony, and the Kaliyugaya: Global/Local Discourses on the Human-Environment Relationship," by Nireka Weeratunge, which has been published within the issue. Weeratunge's article focused on various aspects of human-environment relations. According to the author, Weeratunge's paper contributed in showcasing the predominant nature of Third World countries such as Sri Lanka, in the evolution of the Western environmental discourse.
