Abstract

The article presents several speeches delivered during the annual convention of New England educators held on November 11-13, 1920 at Boston, Massachusetts. Bertha McConkey of Springfield, Illinois talks about the significance of applying new trends in education. Massachusetts Commissioner Payson Smith noted for the relationship between general education and vocational education. James T. Williams, editor of the Boston Transcript, made an address on "The People and the Public Schools."
