Macroborings and Bioclaustrations in a Late Devonian Reef Above the Alamo Impact Breccia, Nevada, USA.

Borings and bioclaustrations preserve the endolithic component of a complex reef ecosystem that developed following the Late Devonian Alamo Bolide Impact Event in Nevada. A new type of bioclaustration, Chaetosalpinx alamo n. isp., occurs in clusters within reef-building stromatoporoids.
