Epilogue: Needed Research in Demography.

An epilogue for the book "Handbook of Population" is presented. This chapter summarizes research priorities in the field of demography proposed by some of the authors of the handbook. It suggests three areas of demography that the authors believe require additional attention. It reviews the book "The Study of Population," by Philip M. Hauser and Otis Dudley Duncan and the research priorities mentioned by the book's chapter authors.
