Abstract
- This article presents information on a survey related to U.S. airlines and their transatlantic operations. The continued strengthening of transatlantic yields has attracted carriers on both sides of the ocean to enlarge their capacity. The survey found that U.S. carriers account for 37% of seats from the U.S. to Europe, Africa and the Middle East. Delta Airlines Inc. is the largest transatlantic carrier, measured by departures and available seat followed by British Airways and Lufthansa.
