Abstract
- The article presents information on several musical scores composed by Jerome Kern. The record set "Jerome Kern 1934-1938" includes songs from the sound tracks of films "Sweet Adeline" and "Roberta." The inclination of Kern toward operetta is influenced by European and U.S. musical theatre. The score for the musical "Show Boat" is the most popular work by Kern.
