Abstract
- The article presents anecdotes, humorous events, news items and other notes related to the United States National Education Association (NEA) Department of Superintendence at its meeting in Boston, Massachusetts in February 1928. Nearly 20 percent of the country's teachers are enrolled in the NEA. Attendees were amused at the use of the term masters to refer to principals. The use of life membership in the NEA to recognized educational leadership has been applauded.
