Abstract
- The article reports that a one-year postponement of all academic exchanges between the United States and China conducted under the Fulbright program will be sought by the Chinese authorities to express displeasure with the United States. The postponement would be designed to register official Chinese displeasure for harboring dissidents and for the sanctions which have been levied against China by the United States in the wake of the massacre in Tiananmen Square on June 4, 1989.
