Abstract

The article focuses on the views of school administrators and educators on whether the public school system in the U.S. is a failure. Superintendent C. S. Marsh of Summit, New Jersey believes that there are only few failures in the system of high schools in the country. P. S. Woolsey of San Francisco, California details the cause of the criticisms being raised against U.S. public schools. Superintendent J. E. Blair of Corsicana, Texas believes that majority of boys enrolled in high schools have been successful in life.
