Abstract

The article focuses on synthesizing copolyesters based on different molar ratios of polytrimethylene terephthalate to polytrimethylene isophthalate. Thermal properties and crystallization behavior of polytrimethylene terephthalate copolymers containing isophthalic units are explored. The effect of inclusion of isophthalate unit in the chain replacing the terephthalate unit is also presented.
