Textiles from Film.

Information about the paper discussed at a symposium on textile processing of the British Polyolefin Textiles Association held in Edinburgh is presented. The making of textiles from plastic film was reported in which the chair of the group William Low disclosed that production of textiles from film is one the fast-growing sections in the textile industry. He revealed that manufacturers invested an amount in the extrusion and weaving of polyolefins and they focused on areas with unemployment problems.
