Abstract
- The article examines the faculty-committee structure in universities and colleges in the United States. It compares the faculty-committee structure to the appendix in the human body. It cites the case involving final drafting of a calendar that showed the fall semester ending December 24, 1985. The article concludes with the author's suggestion for a one-year moratorium on all committees.
