Abstract
- The article discusses the integration of electroencephalography (EEG) or magnetoencephalography (MEG) and functional magnetic resonance imaging (fMRI) in an effort to develop a multimodal functional neuroimaging. In combining fMRI and EEG/MEG, several mismatches occurred due to the differences in physiological and physical principles of the imaging modalities and the spatiotemporal scales at which the brain processes were monitored.
