Abstract

The article reports on the summer jobs of law students in the United States. According to the article, law students work as summer associates at law firms to make business contacts and learn aspects of law that they claim were not offered in schools. Social programs offered to law students who work as associates include tickets to professional sports games, luncheons and firm-sponsored softball games.
