Abstract
- The article focuses on the pension policy in Argentina. It discusses some key changes in the distributional principles and outcomes of pension policy from an area where empirical research remained rather limited in spite of the substantial reform processes which have taken place in Argentina. The political relevance of pension policy means that reforms involving losses for large or influential groups tend to be applied only relatively far in the future in order to contain public resistance.
