Abstract

The article reports on the difficulties that universities experience in translating the implications provided by the U.S. Supreme Court decision on the reverse discrimination case involving student Allan Bakke. A report released by the joint committee of the American Council on Education and the Association of American Law Schools revealed that the difficulties lie in understanding what the decisions mean for other special programs designed to aid minority groups.
