Abstract: The article offers news briefs on issues related to education. 28 free kindergartens are being maintained by Philadelphia, Pennsylvania at an expense of $10,896. Fumigation is conducted in schoolrooms in Detroit, Michigan semi-annually to eliminate disease germs. A holiday was sanctioned by the Auckland Board of Education in New Zealand at the Okiahau school for an arbor day for the planting of trees and shrubs in the playground by scholars.
