Abstract: The article focuses on the institutions that have provided U.S. President Ronald Reagan with key advisers. President Reagan taps on the Center for Strategic and International Studies for ideas and manpower for his transition team. The publications, seminars, and research address a wide range of topics in applied policy analysis, arms control, international economics, and energy policy.
