Remembering Berkeley.

The article presents a reprint of the article "Remembering Berkeley," by Sheldon S. Wolin which appeared in the "Daily Princetonian." The author examines the beginning of student protests in United States. Contrary to the rumors, the events which happened in University of California in Berkeley in the fall of 1964 did not began the chain of campus protests throughout United States and Western Europe, what started in Berkeley was the first significant political challenge to campus authority.
