Abstract

The article discusses about the annihilation concept, the strategy of overkill. In this report, the author emphasis the importance of achieving a stable peace. With regards to this nuclear dilemma, a nuclear arms race was established as a holding period to provide a temporary respite for mankind to solve its problems. Also, each of the great power nations has a monumental self-interest in seeing to it that no nuclear war occurs. All of which are motivated to seek some means of accommodation, to lessen arms race by some form of arms control or limitation.
