Abstract
- The article offers world news briefs related to nuclear science. A national institute for research in nuclear science is to be established in Great Britain. The heads of six European nations have agreed the basic provisions of two treaties which include the common tariff-free market and the establishment of a European Atomic Energy Community. Greece has planned to launch a major atomic program which will be the focus of a laboratory named the Democritus Nuclear Research Center.
