Abstract
- The article offers a British Atomic Energy Research report in connection with chemical engineering. The section discusses the interests of the Chemical Engineering Division at Harwell. It includes mineral dressing as applied to the beneficiation of low-grade uranium ores, the chemical processing of irradiated material, the development of the technology of reactor materials, and the fundamental study of the operations of special interest to the new industry. The mineral dressing group of the division intends to study the methods for the treatment of low-grade radioactive ores.
