Model Programs for the Education of Teachers in Science; A Progress Report from the Eastern Region of AETS.

The article highlights the fall meeting of the Eastern Region of the Association for the Education of Teachers in Science held at the Teachers College of the Columbia University, on October 30 to 31, 1964 in New York City. The event was devoted to the consideration of model programs for the education of teachers in science. The results of the deliberations are presented in this article. They will serve as reference for further deliberations.
