Abstract

The article presents a research that compares the effect of simulation games and worksheets on learning in a high school biology classroom in the U.S. There are three simulation games used in this study that were able to teach factual information. Students who were taught by the simulation game method had comparable accomplishment benefits with those who were taught using worksheets. Its impact was constant across ability and gender. In addition, the gender of students was importantly related to retention.
