Abstract

The article discusses various available cemented femoral components and how orthopedic surgeons choose which one to use. It presents an overview of the history and development over the years of cemented femoral components in the U.S. It describes the femoral revision prevalence of the various femoral components. It describes the factors affecting the long term durability of the cemented stem construct.
