Abstract
- In this review, field-flow fractionation (FFF) is presented as a versatile and powerful analytical technique for separation and characterization of different sample types. The underlying principles of FFF separation theory including sources of the obstacles and the difficulties as well as the new approaches is also introduced. This paper describes FFF sub-techniques, presents its exemplary application and the future trends in development of FFF techniques. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
