Translating experimental discoveries into new clinical therapies.

The article focuses on the three articles published which summarizes the current treatment of neurological disorders. The first article re-evaluated experimental treatments in acute stroke and the findings of the animal studies were compared with clinical trials. The second paper describes the effects of the free-radical-trapping agent NXY-059 in humans while the third one deals with the summary of the possible efficacy of intraputamenal glial cell line-derived neurotrophic factor infusion in Parkinson disease.
