Abstract
- The article presents arguments against the bond requirements for national banks in the U.S. Accordingly, in several cases the national banks were imposed to post a bond by the Federal Rule of Civil Procedure, the state law and the lower court judgment winners. The authors contend that Section 91 of the National Bank Act mandated that national banks are given and must enjoy the exemptions from posting an appeal bond.
