Abstract
- The article highlights the XII International Congress on Molecular Plant-Microbe Interactions in Yucatán, Mexico in December 2005. The aim of the meetings is to present data at the forefront of research over a wide field of interactions between plants, fungi, bacteria, viruses and nematodes. The emphasis is on the genetic and molecular analysis of the processes under study. Several of the speakers at the conference focused on nonhost resistance and the importance of pathogen-associated molecular pattern perception and transduction.
