Abstract
- The article offers medical news briefs. The Food and Drug Administration has warned health professionals and patients about the new drug called Paxil, which is said to cure depression, can caused to an increased risk of birth defects when taken for the first 3 months during pregnancy. Ernest Amory Codman Award was given to Pikes Peak Mental Health Care Center in Colorado. The Department of Veterans Affairs has reveal their plan of building three Mental Health Centers of Excellence.
