Abstract
- The article presents information about Carriage House, a new dormitory at Mount Allison University in Sackville, New Brunswick. It is the university's first dormitory devoted to sustainable living. The residence, which opened last fall, is one of the first in Canada to give students the opportunity to make environmentally conscious daily choices, such as drying their clothes on lines outside or turning down the heat in their bedrooms. In that way it differs from the large energy-efficient "green" dormitories increasingly being built on campuses.
