Abstract
- The article comments on a study by G.R.O. Campbell and colleagues about an enzyme that appears to play a key role in the transformation of flavin in dimethylbenzimidazole (DMB). According to the author, the team proved that a mutant in bluB gene was able to grow in the presence of either vitamin B<subscript>12</subscript> or DMB but not in the presence of cobinamide. He also mentions the limitations of Campell's study.
