Understanding the Holocaust: The Past and Future of Holocaust StudiesGregory Weeks is Contract Professor of History and International Relations at Webster University in Vienna. His work focuses on the Austrian First Republic and on the Third Reich. He is the author of numerous articles and book chapters on Austrian history, post-1945 history and international relations, and is currently working on ‘A Military History of Germany from 1815 to the Present’, to be published in 2006. He has held fellowships at the United States Holocaust Memorial Museum and the United States Military Academy at West Point.
