Analysis of multinational underwriting cycles in property-liability insurance.

The article discusses the findings of a study of multinational underwriting cycles in property-liability insurance in Switzerland, Germany, the United States and Japan. A description of the study design and methodology is given. The study provides a hypothesis that the factors affecting underwriting cycles are mainly country-specific rather than global/international.
