Abstract

The article focuses on the philosophy of Canada's two governing parties: the Social Credit, which has become a Conservative party with Moral Rearmament trimmings, and the Cooperative Commonwealth Federation, which has built connections with the working class. With the forthcoming Saskatchewan election, the choice will be not only between political doctrine and socialism, but also between fundamentalist religion and religion directed toward social welfare.
