Small-bowel intussusception as a rare differential diagnosis in HIV-positive patients with acute abdominal pain.

The article investigates the presence of enteric intussusception in an adult population. The disease is commonly found in children. However, in this particular case, the HIV-positive patient showed positive symptoms such as abdominal pain and nausea. Dilated small-bowel loops were confirmed through plain abdominal X-ray. The appearance of intussusception consists of a thickened bowel.
