Cubic, GE Integrate Explosives Detection, Ticket Machine Technology.

The article reports that Cubic Corp. and General Electric said they have integrated explosives detection technology into a ticket vending machine and expect to announce a pilot program, as of March 8, 2006. The new machine is based on GE Itemiser FX, which is a fingertip trace detection analyzer that entered the market last fall, and Cubic's advanced automatic fare collection system.
