6--A CONTRIBUTION TO THE APPLICATION OF WEIBULL'S DISTRIBUTION IN THE TESTING OF TEXTILE MATERIALS.

A description is given of a quick and simple technique for checking, by means of the usual χ² and Kolmogorov-Smirnov tests, the goodness of fit of Weibull's distribution to data relating to the fatigue of textile materials tested for abrasion, repeated extension, repeated bending, etc., or subjected to any type of action susceptible of being treated by means of such a distribution.
