Abstract

The article highlights the meeting of the Yorkshire Section in Bradford, England. The meeting discusses the sulphur content on wool fibers which has been given special attention by a scientific study of fleece production and wool structure. Such study aims to improve the fleece character production that came from the study of nutritional and genetic influences and the effects of animals. Further study indicates that the nutritional aspect of the animal can influence the nature of the wool supply. Moreover, sulphur content on the wool fiber proves to be a problem for the production processes. Several charts depicting the experimentation that has been done are presented for further information.
