NFMA Issues Final Water-Sewer Disclosure Practices Paper.

The article reports on the National Federation of Municipal Analysts' issuance of a final paper recommending disclosure practices for water and sewer financings that is unchanged from a draft that was released last September 2005 in the United States. The issuance of the paper is timely because it comprises disclosure of environmental issuers and coincides with the Governmental Accounting Standards Board's efforts to produce accounting and reporting guidelines for pollution remediation obligations.
