Abstract
- The article focuses on wool and other fibers as components of carpet pile yarns. The section discusses the correlation of wool and other fibers in connection to carpets. The section offers several reports relating to the topic, under the following headings: all wool blends, woollen blends, worsted blends, blending procedure-woollen, blending procedure-worsted, requirements of carpet pile yarns, man-made fibers, continuous filament yarns, staple fibers, bright and delustered qualities, characteristics of man-made fibers, properties of man-made fibers, methods of employment, blends with wool, and man-made fiber used alone.
