Abstract
- The article reports on North East Worcestershire College's investment in an engineering training facility for the West Midlands industrial area at its Bromsgrove arts and technology campus in England. The investment which also included 30 computer numerical controls and other toolroom machines has transformed the facility to make the most up-to-date training provision anywhere in the region. The essential aspect of the training facility is the CAD/CAM software. The college offers AutoCAD for design, integrated with EdgeCAM intelligent manufacturing software from Pathrace Systems Inc.
