Abstract

The article analyzes the teaching of physical education using systematic observation. Observation systems can be categorized into inductive and deductive systems. The are several methods by which inductive observation takes place. These are anecdotal recording, critical incident study, all inclusive observations and dialogue analysis. On the other hand, the deductive system has the following categories: process systems, terminal process systems, product systems, content analysis systems, physical environment systems and non-human subject systems.
