Abstract

The article comments on the safety and efficacy of tacrolimus gel and other topical agents for treatment of plaque psoriasis. The author asserts that despite of the proven efficacy of commercially available topical agents, these drugs should be improved. Further development of vehicles to increase penetration the drugs are necessary.
