Abstract

The article studies the occurrence of interstitial pneumonitis and lung fibrosis during adjuvant treatment of melanoma with interferon alpha. Interferon a2b has become the adjuvant therapy of choice, but it is not free from adverse side effects. In a case presented, the toxicity consisted in a flu-like syndrome, grade III asthenia and mucocutaneous dryness.
